If you’ve ever prayed that Firefly would be turned into an action-packed space sim, just pour yourself a tall glass of bourbon and strap in, pardner.
Okay, Tharsis is an EXCELLENT game… in concept.
However, in execution it is a relentless, soul-blasting exercise in absolute and utter hopelessness. The fact that there is a HARD mode beyond the standard NORMAL mode is comparable to saying that the sixth circle of hell isn’t so bad because technically there’s something worse.
FTL is and always will be in my top 3 games of all time.
