I can say with a fair amount of confidence I never had this much fun when I was still alive.

This game is chaos. Delightful, wretched, unhinged, beautiful, magical, maddening chaos.
If you’ve ever prayed that Firefly would be turned into an action-packed space sim, just pour yourself a tall glass of bourbon and strap in, pardner.
Arkham Horror is a vile, wicked slog through the demon-infested streets of Arkham, Massachusetts — a favorite haunt of the most wretched beasties imaginable. The game is cruel, unrelenting, wildly unfair, and will probably murder you and your friends in a manner not unlike being slowly flayed alive while shreds of your sanity catch fire and ooze away. And yes, it’s one of my favorites.
Okay! Okay, okay, okay. I feel really, REEEEEALLY bad saying this, but I LOVE THIS GAME. I shouldn’t! I know! I knooooooow! I’m a monster! Oh, right, you probably haven’t played it.
Pandemic set the baseline for co-op games in my world. It’s brutal, challenging, fun, victorious, and horrific all at the same time. That constant back-and-forth shudder is precisely what makes the game so goddamn amazing.
I am Boss Monster’s prey. It’s adorable, it’s cruel, it has frickin’ 8-bit art! What’s not to love? I adore being the bad guy, and as you may have guessed by the title, you are exactly that. So yes, thank you! I’ll gladly play a few rounds.
